Spring and Easter Crepe Paper Centerpiece Ideas
With the spring season and Easter right around the corner, we thought it would be a nice idea to share a couple of spring and Easter crepe paper centerpiece ideas with you.
You will need a flower-making book and the list of supplies and tools listed in the book, crepe paper and any other decorative item that represents spring or Easter.
The most popular spring flower is a tulip; it is a beautiful flower and comes in an assortment of colors in nature. Now imagine what you can do with crepe paper and your tulip pattern. You are not limited to using the tulip for your centerpieces though; we also recommend daisies, and even mini sunflower.
Regardless of the flowers you choose for your centerpieces you may want to take the color into consideration; spring colors are always a nice way to go such as yellow, white, pink, peach, and red. Now, for an Easter centerpiece you might consider pastels such as blue, pink, yellow or any light shade of your favorite color.
The centerpiece we are going to look at is a full size centerpiece that you can place on your dining room table or on the tables at your wedding reception. You will need a vase we recommend a wide mouth round large vase.
Once you make all your flowers in the colors you want simply arrange them in a free flowing style in other words just place all the flowers in the vase anyway you would like there is no need to worry about one flower being taller or shorter than the one next to it. Finish the centerpiece off with a nice ribbon or lace bow tied around the center of the vase.
Now let us look at the crepe paper Easter centerpiece idea. The first idea is a small double flower centerpiece these are great for your guests to take home from an Easter dinner or gathering or a wedding. You will need a small planter and some paint you can paint it any color you would like just try to stick with a color that goes with either spring or Easter and the color flower you place inside; a red planter with orange flowers may not look so great!
You will also need either artificial pieces of grass or you can make grass with green crepe paper (just cut the paper into very thin strips). We actually recommend the artificial grass because it stands up better. Place the grass in the small container then put in two small flowers of your choice. You want the grass to be slightly taller than the flowers so it appears as if the flowers are nestled in the grass. You can also decorate the planter with rub on butterflies, dragonflies or any item spring or Easter. We hope you enjoy these two spring and Easter crepe paper centerpiece ideas!
